exactly, with twitter, facebook and google in the domestic market, there is no way Pakistan internet users will use Pakistan internet alternative services which mean they are killing those small/mediam companies.

India on the other hand boast their high tech on IT industry, while the domestic market was dominated by twitter, faceboo and google and many other US companies, India has no internet company which is relevant in the world.

They can close or lower your influence because there is nothing you can fight back unless you have alternative which you can threaten Twitter company.

Make a law, and hire company to do survey, if twitter unfair and bias, lower twitter internet connection or make it unstable as a punishment. If twitter do not follow Pakistan law, ban the twitter advertisement on Pakistan market.

The revenue and margin from Pakistan market is the leverage you can make twitter play by the rule, your rule, Not Yankees' rule.

Without the law, the enforcement, the alternetive, Yankees don't give a fck what Pakistanis like or dislike.

The curfew in IOK, the internet community has little coverage. It's all controlled.

I am not sure where you get your information from. But there are 2 things I know for sure it is not true.

China did not have "Chinese version of Facebook" before Facebook was born. Facebook as a company was founded in 2004, it would be even earlier if you are referring to facemash, which is the precursor of Facebook, in 2003. The Chinese equivalent of Facebook is RenRen, which formed in 2005. Also, you would not call it "Chinese Version of Facebook" if that predate Facebook. You would call Facebook "The American Version of Renren"

Alipay is the world largest Mobile Payment platform, not the world largest epayment. The world largest epayment is wire transfer or TT (Which is a form of Electronic Payment). Which have 9 trillions USD transaction a day. Nothing even come close to beating that...

It may work or may not. If you don't have alternative, it's damn sure won't work.

An alternative is a threat on twitter, and an option for Pakistan people. If you don't have an alternative, how can you ban it and persuade your people?

You have a stick in hands, and talk softly. I don't see other solutions.

It's called colonization. Your ancestor which is much smarter than you guys now took one of the best land on earth. And you knew people are opportunities, some of the Chinese got illegal money and fly away to Canada. It's ashamed that Canada love their money and hide those criminals.

There is a centre in Hyderabad India where indian moderators for facebook decide on what content to remove from the rest of South Asia. What you see is islamophobic hateful abuses against Islamic figures and symbols, while using word hindu in comments would get an automatic community standards violation and get your comment deleted and you banned first for 48 hours and then for a month if they found more comments.


We saw this firsthand when facebook accounts were deactivated in July 2016 post Burhan Wani death.

Facebook handed over bans and blocked almost every content from Kashmir to quash the information from there. A human rights activist of indian origin account was deactivated while he was recording video call with a person from Kashmir. MAny accounts were blocked and deleted. India has used corporate to block information on digital platforms to cover up the issue.

Neither PTA nor the pathetic Pakistani Govt. did anything about it. Overseas Pakistanis also suffered silently.

Same thing is done by twitter. Pakistanis don't act in groups like indians in social media where they run in packs and report together in 50 or more numbers against a Pakistani tweet.
There is a pattern overseas Pakistanis take the bait while the local Pakistanis just vent and forget later, knowing this is a psy-ops war.

All the internet international cables Pakistan is a member of or using, India also has a stake there. What if someone in India tries to stop internet usage in Pakistan? Thia is why you see random indian content appearing on your playlist or on the right hand of your youtube video.

I don't watch Indian content so I've right clicked not interested on those r*ndian videos many a times which somehow appear again.

Pakistani Govt. and PTA has not safeguarded the rights of Pakistani netizens while ignoring the indian digital warfare.

Time to speak up about the biased and one-sided moderators policy of facebook and twitter, which can get really islamophobic and anti-Muslim yet not removed.
