Pakistan Navy ship “SAIF” will be paying a Goodwill visit to Maldives from 27-30 October, 2010.

Pakistan Navy ships making routine Port calls on the ports of friendly countries. Pakistan and Maldives enjoy close friendly relations which has been demonstrated through show of complete solidarity with the flood victims of Pakistan by the Maldivian nation.

In the same way, a large number of foreign tourists and Maldivian nationals were rescued by the Pakistan Navy helicopters and ships when Tsunami struck the region on 28 december 2004.

The call by Pakistan Navy Ship at Maldives is aimed to exchange experience between Pakistan Navy and Coast Guard of Maldives.

During the visit of the officers and sailors of PNS, “SAIF” will arrange and promote events of friendship with Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) including social work and the sports.

PNS Saif derives its name from Khalid Bin Walid, the famous companion of Prophet Muhammad (Prayers and peace be upon him). It is the third and the last ship of Sword class Frigates built at Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard, China.

The ship was commissioned in the Pakistan Navy on September 15 at Shanghai. It is equipped with state of the art weaponry, sensors and equipment making it capable of undertaking various kinds of operations at sea.

good to see f-22p and its crew gaining some experience...

.
PN should have good relations with all of the navies in the world especially in the neighbhorhood.

.
The Maldives leadership have always encouraged PN to visit their shores..
In some cases verbally asking them to come.
This irks the Indians a lot.. since they consider Maldives their personal backyard in some ways.
Recently a Pakistani was appointed at a high position in a Maldives university.. surpassing many Indians in the loop..
Leading to many protests by Indian voices in that institute..

I don't understand why pakistanis have to drag India into every topic. The title was about pakistan's navy visiting Maldives. What the hell does India have to do with any of this? Seems like all you people like to do is compare India with pakistan.

Yes, please explain to us why the Indians were burning in flames when a qualified Pakistani was appointed in Maldives, why Indians are always trying to sabotage Pakistan and Pakistanis? Why? Is that too many vegetables or what?

Because they are using Afghan land to export terror to Pakistan. Can you provide us any thing like this from the Maldives.

Till now even Pakistan has not given any proof for Indian involvement except big mouth Rehman Malik threatening on television that "we will give at the right moment" ..

And this was years ago..but still the right moment has not arrived and I dont know when it will arrive.

Well it isn't about proof. I haven't said anything about proof. You also have many big mouths in Bharat. Quote any one of them and tell us that Pakistan is using Maldives land to export terror to Bharat. We want to know what we are doing in Maldives. ;)

:)

It is everything about proof.

The moment you accused India of meddling in pakistan through Afghanistan,it is incumbent on you to provide proof.

As far as Maldives is concerned, has any Indian official protested that ?? So your case falls flat on its face.

Dont bring in some university elections ruse,it may be caused by many factors that you and me might not know.

PS: We do have bigmouths in plenty here..but they are not fools and certainly dont get elected to the post of Union Home Ministers

You fall flat on your face dear. Buy making stupid analogies of Maldives with Afghanistan. When you yourself admit that no Indian official has protested on any Paksitani activities from Maldives. As I said next time make better analogies buddy. I asked an statement from some random big mouth from Bharat and you presented yourself. lolzzz;)

The stupid analogy you mentioned was given by your compatriot who whined why India always sabotages Pakistan and it was you who brought "terror from Afghanistan canard" into picture.Read the thread fully and hit the reply button.

Ps: I may be a big mouth,so maybe you,..but certainly im not the Home minister of India.

Wow.. the pot is after the kettle now.
The incident I mentioned specifically to show the deep mistrust.. even in civilian life.
The fellow in question has been appointed HoD at a university.. no security issues there.. yet the ten or so Indians under him have been doing the usual "baghal mein churi moon pe ram ram"routine with him.
Although this has subsided recently since he did a PR drive with the Indians.. something along "we are a team"..
and Hindu Atheist.. you want to do a popular vote on who drags who into arguments..
