Pakistan Navy Ship Aslat (F-254) conducted security patrols in support of Combined Task Force (CTF) 151 and in the eastern areas of Combined Maritime Forces (CMF).

The deployment of Ship Aslat to the region reflects the Pakistan Navy's commitment to combat piracy, armed robbery at sea, and ensure the free flow of maritime commerce.

The name "Aslat" is an Arabic word for a type of sword used by Arabs in the early days of Islam.
