Cdre Kamran Ahmed & Cdre Kashif Munir promoted to rank of R/Adm. R/Adm Kamran Ahmed was commissioned in Construction Branch in 1993. He is a graduate of PNWC, Lhr & NDU, Isb. He has also done Masters in Naval Architecture from the United Kingdom.

R/Adm Kashif Munir was commissioned in Marine Engineering Branch in 1993. He is a graduate of PNWC, Lhr & NDU, Isb. In recognition of their meritorious services, both Flag Officers have been awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military).

Vice Chief of the Naval Staff Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami called on Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Mohammed A. Alghuraybi during official visit to the KSA

The discussions focused on matters of mutual interest, regional maritime security, naval collaboration, bilateral exercises & training opportunities.

During port call, crew of visiting ships will engage in professional discussions with PN personnel & participate in bilateral ship visits. Furthermore, Russian & Pakistani naval ships will conduct joint exercises aimed at enhancing interoperability and maritime cooperation.

During port stay, Chief of Defence Force, government officials, High Commissioner of Pakistan, diplomats & Ambassadors/reps from Australia, Bangladesh, China, Japan, KSA, Malaysia, Russia, Sri Lanka, UK & USA, along with members of local community, visited the ship.

At the conclusion of port visit, PNS ASLAT conducted Passage Exercise with Maldives Coast Guard Ship SHAHEED ALI. Exercise aimed to strengthen maritime cooperation & enhance interoperability between two navies.

Exercise Arabian Monsoon-VI

Pakistan and Russia concluded naval exercise Arabian Monsoon-VI, featuring joint drills at sea and in Karachi.

The exercise included diverse warfare simulations, coordinated patrols, and PAF fighter aircraft participation.

The event aimed to boost interoperability and counter maritime threats.
