I can name more than a few groups that maimed women and children during various riots. Regardless of songs and your attempt in being a seal fighting over a grape; the Sub was detected early by happenstance due to an exercise taking place. It is likely that it was surfaced for either intelligence purposes or simply because the batteries on the 209 arent in a good condition anymore and need frequent snorkeling.

Had they actual intent to debate; they would have pointed out to the surfaced sub, possible issues that it might have had, and the connection with PNS Hameed which went operational a few weeks ago.

On a serious note, i think Pakistan will have to up its naval game as it emerges as a major transit port. The Indians will try to strong arm and harass ships travelling to and from pakistan in an order to undermine shipping companies.

The intended affects may be delays, increase in insurance costs, and muscles flexing. This may amount to marathon terrorism on the part of India.

But, these shipping companies have mega global presences. Other than the Somalian pirates, who else can mess with them???
