yes all four of them they were risk for navy personal sir 55 years were enough to use them .

story is after PIA multan crash of F27 FOKKER serial# AP-BAL in July 2006 all of PIA fookers were grounded till 2007-08 . and then they were inducted in PAK navy in APRIL 2008.

I always remember the Fokker F-27 with the old 1990s PIA livery and their domestic flights never flew on one but recall seeing them at KHI and LHE in the early 2000s

Shame Fokker went bankrupt two decades ago

Yes I think it was some kind of promotion for Mohenjadaro offered by PIA to some schools in Karachi, it was highly discounted by PIA if I remember correctly I paid only Rs.75.00 rest was picked up by the airline and the school including food. Great Trip man !!!

PIA flies ATR-42s nowadays I heard they cut many flights domestic wise in the 2000s and 2010s which is quite shameful if our railways are pure garbage we should focus on building new airports and encourage air travel over crappy transport mafia

So there are 2 MARiTIme version of atr and one for Transport now ? At one time there were 7/8 fokers I think pn also picked up paf one or two after they retired it

Anyway more atr will come and fleet will go up to 5/6 min as 4 MARItime and 2 transport version are min needed

2 MPA ATRs (RAS, Aerodatta , 2015 order ) , 1 transport ATR n 1 cargo or Para drop ATR ( inducted on 04 January 2020 along with MPA ATR ) > Total 4 ATRs .

All aircraft are flown till their air-frame life comes to an end.
Fokkers served PN Aviation for approx 32 years and served it well.

It was extensively utilized in more ways than it was designed for.

I had many of my training missions on these Fokkers.

An end of an era.
