previously tender was issued for the purchase of another ATR-72 following were my post in Feb-2019Interesting video and interview from Paris air show. Looks like more ATRs will be coming to PN at least another two.
Two news related to PN
- PN is planning to integrate its Z-9C fleet with EO/IR sensors
- PN is also acquiring another ATR 72-500
as far as I remember only two were put in conversion for MPA role third one was in use as transport/ passenger aircraft.
With this acquisition it will be the forth one but as its future role was not mention in Tender document .... might be this new one will replace the 3 third in passenger aircraft role and the current will also be converted into MPA (its just my guess)
they will be dead that time . better buy some 10-12 years old ATRs from France like PAF did for SAAB-200if PIA will replace its ATR-42
than hope PN will get 2-3 of them
PIA have atr72 tooAtt-42 with pia and atr-72 with pn
PIA have atr72 too
5 of them activeI am not aware of pia atr-72s

Sir G, do PN have Fokker50? I herd that they only have Fokker F27 only.Another one or two so two plus two max 4 in asw mode and perhaps one or two in transport/training for pn total potential fleet would be 6 pretty much like foker 50
