ISLAMABAD -UNS : China will provide six patrol ships to Pakistan Maritime Security Agency for the protection of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The agreement was signed between China Ship Trading Company (CSTC) and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) during a ceremony at Ministry of Defence Production (MoDP) in Islamabad yesterday.

According to the agreement, the vessels will be used to prevent illegal activities in the sea. In addition, the four ships will be constructed in China while the remaining two will be built at Karachi’s Shipyard and Engineering Works.

The spokesman for MoDP said the two vessels would be used to stop unlawful movements of miscreants
who wanted to foil the CPEC project.

Pakistan Navy in general have been searching for proper Navy Ships
such as Type 054 Frigate from China or 3 OHP frigates with Air Defences

Some of these units might come in future (as Navy has need for 4 ships)

Well we definitely need to keep RAW at bay but we also need a massive Navy to keep Indian Navy at bay and till now things are not looking that good

.
Pakistan Navy needs to immediately secure the JNB Harbor in light of the admission from the recently nabbed Indian Lt. Cdr. spy who admitted that he has trained BLA personnel in attacking parked ships and other assets by using explosive laden boats. This threat is by far more crucial than perhaps trying to defend from a direct attack by the Indian Navy

. .
We should focus Iranian sea area and land Iran is all in it they dont want to see gwadar developing and they always been pro India no time to be complecent this spy was in Iran how could he escape Iranian agencies and enter Pak with dollars and several times Iran don't know it is a joke infact Iranian secretary came to Pak few months ago barking on Pak saying we support terror in Iran now show bastered this spy
