oohhhhhh man, Indians are on the roll, 5th thread of the day.

You guys have nothing to do other then roam around and find this stuff.

Unbelievable, to see the obsession.

I am starting to feel..you are imposing selective vision on the rest here..do you have eyes only for what Indian are doing, have you been ignorant to the standards threads your countrymen have been creating??..You say 5 threads were created on the same topic however you deleted them ..but I fail understand..what could be reason for such?? Do you consider these videos as far fetched propaganda, having no relation what so ever to reality ??

We understand that you are the senior-most active moderator present these days and have your own way of running this forum but
freedom of speech which use to be benchmark of this forum..is fast disappearing in the past numerous threads relating to Pak army(most of them created by Pakistanis) have been deleted without giving an adequate reason.

What disappoints me the most rather than commenting on the topic at hand (either refuting it or endorsing it by giving valid reasons) you have chosen to target the thread stater and Indians in general.

.
Well i would wait 4 his next bit in which he's going to talk about distortion of history in India. If the facts he states r in tune to what we have studied, only then can we pass a judgment and establish credibility of this speaker.

I referred my comments about curriculum policy, not the present leadership. Now keep laughing.

i dont understand how come people like najam sethi, nadeem paracha guys keep poping up in our digital media???, has our media become full of these garbages??

to all pakistani members,
many of you amazed to see the response of indians regarding this issue and you all find it unnecessary. lets me explain you the main reason for bewildered state of indians.
History in india always kept unbiased since the independence. there are several reasons for that.
1. if some political party which is in power tries any distortion in history they always find a community of people which prove them wrong so this thing goes to high court may be supreme court.
thus no body can use history for their gain.
2. history is one of the subjects which is mandatory up to 10th standard in every state board and national board so if some body tries to change the facts they are proven wrong by other state board books and again lots voices raises concern over it.
3. knowledge through books are always considered right especially state approved so if any inconsistency found in facts lead to high heat from parents and legal authority. even cabinet minister cannot escape from it.
so changing the history or distorting it, is so unimaginable here. thats why indians are so surprised.

@jana,

you mentioned that you used to read books written by foreign and indian authors. why not pakistani authors. all books written by indian authors here(india) for intermediate courses(12th standard). those who goes for higher studies in history, read books from authors from all over the world.

i think those who has studied in state board school in pakistan may give us better knowledge as compared to those who studied in public school or some international school.

according to my POV( i think many will share it) knowledge is very powerful ingredient in development of child. if you distort it then basically you are incepting a bad idea in his brain :-)D). one day it will grow to an extent that extraction :-)D )of it may lead to collapse of his belief system.

the talk show is Pakistani, the speakers are Pakistani and the channel is Pakistani, you can hardly call the obsessed on any Indian's part my friend. Would the same apply to threads about India ?

Than you are saying that those were not written in the books but Sethi says he is quoting them from the text books on TV. Strange!!!

History and culture of Pakistan, by Nigel Kelly, this is the book which most of us study in 9th and 10th grades in pakistan and most matric students uses it for reference, other books which i have rd are pretty much the same

first go read this book, and then come here, cuz this is the only cure for your ignorance

I bet you have wasted alot of time in listening to this guy, If Zaid Hamid was there, none of you will be here:lol:

.
Well have already deleted a few, but it will keep popping up, you know well why it can't stop.

Plus, i don't understand Sethi, did he consult other books or by using just one wrongly written book, he is on the roll. This is pathetic, he should have done more research before coming to the table, or should i say he needs to be on the TV and speak to get attention.

His research is dead on, if you can prove him wrong in even one aspect please do. Deleting the thread is more of censorship rather than really addressing the issue. Just as what Sethi is saying, you tend to turn a blind eye over things you dont want to see. He is one of most sensible Pakistanis around and a true patriot. Unlike other so called defense analyst he does not glorify the post or fake the future, he sticks to the truth and wants to make a change by realizing mistakes and rectifying them.

.
I think the idea of some pakistani that they ruled india for 1000year has its root in this curriculum
I think congress winning elections in Pakistan provinces was an eye opener for me it does give massive credence to secular nature of grand old party

May be he is a liar. :) Because from Class 1 to Bachelors I didn't read anything of this sort in any text book.
