Pakistan Moves 20,000 Soldiers To Gilgit-Baltistan LoC :

.

ABP is an Indian news channel? But if this is true then we're heading for a showdown. Popcorns ready. :D
If any new war erupts between India and China, it will be a two front war. The Pakistanis know they missed the opportunity of a life time by not attacking Kashmir when Indian forces were being diverted to fight the Chinese in 1962. They will definitely not make the same mistake again.

New Delhi: At a time when India is engaged with China in a bid to diffuse border tensions in Ladakh region, sources have revealed that a large number of Pakistani troops have been positioned along the Gilgit-Baltistan border. This can lead to an additional responsibility for the Indian Army which has already deployed a good force in Eastern Ladakh.
Sources have said that Pakistan has positioned troops equal to that of China, along its border, building up India’s border tensions at two fronts now. Sources have also revealed that Chinese army is holding talks with terror organisation Al Badr to provoke violence in Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan has moved around 20,000 additional troops in the northern Ladakh region to match the Chinese troops’ strength. This addition is more than what Pakistan had deployed during the Balakot strikes.

Marathon talks between Indian and Chinese military:

On Tuesday, the Indian and Chinese militaries held an over 10-hour Corps Commander-level dialogue with a focus on finalising modalities for the disengagement of troops from various standoff points in eastern Ladakh, wherein India put forward its demand of restoration of status quo.

In the meeting, the Indian delegation conveyed concerns over China's "new claim lines" in the region and demanded restoration of status quo ante as well as immediate withdrawal of Chinese troops from Galwan Valley, Pangong Tso and a number of other areas, sources said. The focus of the talks was on finalising the modalities for de-escalation, and disengagement of troops from various friction points, the sources said adding there were deliberations on confidence building measures as well.

An official word on the details of the meeting is expected today, It was the third corps commander-level meeting since the standoff began on May 5.

India-Pakistan diplomatic level downgradation:

After several reports mistreatment of Indian embassy officials in Pakistan, India asked Pakistan to reduce its staff in high commission in Delhi straight to half the strength now, within a period of seven days, a move further downgrading the ties between the two conflicting neighbours. At the same India is also doing a ‘reciprocal trimming’ of its staff in its high commission in Islamabad.

The move came after Indian High Commission officials in Islamabad were abducted on gunpoint and tortured by Pakistani security agencies. It is also to be noted that Pakistan High Commission officials are also suspected of carrying out espionage activities in India and maintaining dealings with terror outfits.

Probably correct.
But in 1962 Pakistan was far closer to America and not so even very friendly with China.. There was immense American pressure on Pakistan.. if not threat ..to not attack India.. Plus the people of India and Pakistan were not even half as estranged then as they are now...

The animosity since the Mumbai Attack 2008, incidents of terrorist attacks inside Pakistan, and Modi policies are very potent mix.

New Delhi (Sputnik): India and Pakistan have been at loggerheads since August 2019 when New Delhi stripped Jammu and Kashmir of its special status. With the rise in border tensions between India and China, Pakistan is looking for an opportunity to open up a two-pronged attack on India, say intelligence sources.

Pakistan has moved two divisions of troops along the Line of Control on its side of Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, the area that adjoins Ladakh on the north, intelligence sources have indicated. The development is being seen by Indian intelligence as part of Pakistan’s efforts to open up a two-front war with India.

As many as 20,000 Pakistani soldiers have been moved to the northern Ladakh region to match Chinese deployments, according to the sources. The level of troops Pakistan has deployed is greater than following the Balakot air strikes in 2019.
Sources have said there have been a series of meetings between Chinese and Pakistani officials in recent weeks, followed by the massing of troops in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Indian news website The Economic Times has quoted sources as saying that Chinese officials are holding talks with cadres of terror outfit Al Badr to incite violence in Jammu and Kashmir. Radars on the Pakistan-side are reportedly fully activated and on high alert.

China Adds Six Times More Nuclear Warheads Than India in a Year, Report Reveals

The rise in Chinese air activity near to eastern Ladakh has raised the possibility of the Pakistan Air Force using airbases in Gilgit-Baltistan.

While India is holding talks with China on the disengagement of troops along the 4,057km Line of Actual Control, satellite images have shown a rise in troop deployments and armoured vehicles on both sides of the border.

The development comes just weeks after India and China engaged in violent clashes in Ladakh that left 20 Indian soldiers dead.

There is this famous saying: "In order to cheat you must have common sense" "Nakal kay liye bhe aqal ki zaroorat hoti hai"

Even still if you'll not believe that these are Indian army troops in Indian occupied Kashmir, then you should take a look at that metallic pole on the side of the road, it has Indian flag on it!

I wish Pakistan would pursue policies like this, we need some bravado and some unpredictability. Sadly this is probably false.
