Pakistan Media on India Nuclear Capable Agni-II Missile Test

Because Pakistan has neither the resources nor the requirement to develop the most modern technology in missile domain. The only foreseeable threat is the Indian BMD, counters to which are being worked upon.

Delusional much?

Oh really? :D

You are delusional! India has installed Missile defence systems in metro cities and other important centers. They can track all incoming missiles before it reaches our borders.

No I'm not, let me tell you why YOU are:

Indian BMD's phase-1 is currently in trials (composed of AAD/PDV), and phase-2 (AD-1/AD-2) are in development. Coming to the radars, 2 Israeli origin Green-Pines are installed at Bangalore. There is absolutely no system (except radars) of the Indian BMD currently in production, deployed or operational, neither there is hope for any before 2016-17.

Since late 99s and early 2000s, IAF operates S-300 based tactical BMD (for defence against <300km range missiles), which was acquired in response to PA's acquisition of M-11 missiles. 6 SAM bases are present around Chandigarh and Ambala, and 6 more are present around New-Delhi.
That is just about the amount of missile defence India has, and I'm not even going to comment on its operational feasibility.

IAF/Indian SFC can track Pakistani missiles all they want, they simply cannot do anything about it except to retaliate. So much for interception in our own airspace. :disagree:

According to scientist V K Saraswat of DRDO, Indian BMD's Phase-I is complete and can be deployed to protect Indian cities at a short notice. After successful implementation in Delhi and Mumbai, the system will be used to cover other major cities in the country. This shield can destroy incoming ballistic missiles launched from as far as 2,500 km away.

Lots of "cans" and "wills". Is there a timeline?

When will pakistan launch its new SLV, ULV, Shaheen 3 and Ghauri infinity....??

Every year Indian missile program is progressing to match the best in the world. Pakistan is lagging so much behind.

Sir... how dare you say that Pakistan is lagging... it just stopped at NASAR.......

India doesn't do anything because all these missiles you have or are going to test, is a 10 years old story for us.

Yes, AAD was inducted way back in 2011/12 but never heard anything after that.

But everyone knows its New Delhi. Dr Saraswat told so.
