Its a credit to our intelligence contacts and the Israeli's who just wanted to sell stuff that we were able to keep our falcons combat ready in the times of embargo.

The PAF got spares from israel? I guess it wouldn't matter if those parts were sabotaged, flying F-16s is better than grounded F-16s.
I thought it was just Arab operators selling them at exorbitant prices, plus PAC reverse-engineering bits and pieces. According to one source I read, Saudi Arabia ordered F-16 parts in the 90s despite never operating the type.

yes there are different stories about it. i read that it was mostly PAC own expertise that they were able to maintain and overhaul F16 during the 90's
