What's new

Pakistan is the sixth largest producer of dates in the world.

Date growing has taken off here in South Africa as well as Namibia. I had local fresh dates from Namibia. It is just delicious. I had Saudi dates which are good, algerian varieties not bad, iranian variety i liked a lot. We dont get from Pakistan so i cannot comment.

with climate change swinging its pendulum in this part of the world it was recognised that we had to adapt to newer types of fruits.

.
Alot of dates in Pakistan go to waste due to non-existent processing plants. If Pakistan can introduce food processing plants that produce variety of date products, the advantages are numerous. All they need to do is find out what date products the people in different countries require and just manufacture them. Below are some examples that i found in a local shop that stocks varying date products.
