The problem with Pakistan is aspects of it's social culture, greed, immense grass-root level corruption, ethnic-sectarian hate between the population.

Fix this and you can fix everything.

Nobody knows the true size of Pakistan's economy. It is most likely double that of "official figures". It could be anywhere from 600 billion USD to 750 billion USD.

3 trillion is way too high and even conservative estimates say only about half of the economy is underground

Although, due to the immense popularity Imran Khan has, he will be very useful with getting that economy documented and convincing people to pay taxes, as they have a lot of trust in him. And during that time they can make a system to monitor people's tax payments and implement laws if not paid

That was purely one aspect of the negative social culture I mentioned that needs to be worked on, at the end of the day it's part of human nature so will take time to mend.

But overall it also has a lot of differing aspects and ideals which are different to India's and a positive for it.

Mr Carvelle who worked for Bill Clinton as a election strategy expert once said ' it is economy, stupid ' . Pakistan should concentrate on growing its economy and educating its rapidly growing population with modern education. When you are stable politically and economically you can develop and grow your country rapidly.
