By one side protection of border i mean was If Pakistan and iran have good relations and even half of what they have with china , they will have to deploy lot less forces on border facing Iran , and Iran and Pakistan will work Jointly to counter terrorism in their area which will help both Countries and if Pakistan goes to war with india they will not have the headache of deploying forces on both borders
