Well I can vouch for this.

Women in my family are crazy for stuff broadcast on Urdu1.

The serials are indeed well made.....though I would say made for women's interests mostly....

Do you guys get HumTV or ARY drama channels? Pakistani serials are very well made compared to its south asian counterparts. Authentic outdoor locations , realistic acting , simplicity and 25 episode serials make it appealing.

Compared to 500 episodes of naagin dramas , overdose of make up and fake acting from our eastern neighbours .

No we certainly are not. We may speak a similar language but that's where the similarity ends. indians like to think Pakistanis are the same race as them but the reality is we ate not. Most Pakistanis don't even look indian.

In the Judeo Christian world, people of different races find a lot in common with one another because of the same faith. That's why there is a lot of inter marrying between white and black people. Between white and South American people. So it is the same with the Muslim world. A non-Muslim like you can never know or understands this. From a personal POV and from speaking to other Pakistanis, we find more in common and a natural bond with most other Muslims than we do with anyone else.
