We need something that's on par with S400 or at least something capable of countering it somewhat.. Chinese SAMs currently, the ones we have, are no where near that benchmark.

Well PANTSIR S2 and BUK M3 and S-350 should be our aim as for Tanks it would be T-90 BHISMA which would be tested in December and told that before finally for Anti Tank weapons well kornet and other new options are also their from Russia also this new AK-12 and AK-15 can be our future replacement for Type 56.

SAMS mentioned in your post will make difference if procured in required numbers and possibly customized as per Pakistan's requirements.

Pantsir S-2 & Bik-M3 will provide greater protection not just to fixed assets but moving forces on ground and air. Pakistan don't have any similar SAM from China.

It's HQ-16 with 70km range not HQ-9. HQ-9 have approx. 200km range.

PAF already operate export version of HQ-16, it's called LY-80E.

HQ-9 which pak already operates is based on S-300.
Helis will be delivered year end or in the first half of 2017

re helicopters there is no public release yet but wait till Zarwan or Desert fighter post their pictures flying over Waziristan or Balochistan
