Perhaps our grandchildren will laugh at our stupidities of constantly at each other's throats for decades. We fight over Kashmir--all conflicts in the world are ultimately conflicts for resources--and yet even simple math will tell you that savings from the defense expenditures will be much much more than the resources we waste on our conflict/posture about Kashmir.

If there is any consolation it is that Indians and Pakistanis have not killed each other in so great numbers as the belligerent Europeans did to each other in the two World Wars alone.

Well said!

Great news....even most Indians dont look at Pak as its enemy...but yes if you talk about China.
People in my village don't even know about China. I don't hate China or Pakistan, but I do pray that our Army is up to the task though ;)

.
Yes they do, actually. In fact indian media is always obsessed with Pakistan, and going by the indian perception of Pakistan on this very forum and other places as well, the hate is pretty obvious.

Exactly, it's only us Pakistanis who are blinded by this peace. In order for peace both sides have to oblige. Its a fact majorityof Indians hate Pakistanis, and they always will. Blame their media or upbringings.

Now a days people are talking about peace with India and I personally find it to be complete and utter bullshit because enduring peace can not prevail unless the Kashmir issue is resolved, the river issue is resolved, the issue of funding of insurgents is resolved and though peace is mutually beneficial but this doesn't mean that Pakistan has to get the short end of the stick and by this i mean think of out brothers and sisters in Kashmir suffering untold horrors, living hell on earth and the Indian army doing unspeakable deeds, to opt for freedom without resolving the issue of Kashmir is against the foundations of this country, our morals and our RELIGION which encourages the Ummah to stand up for one another.......
Now before you get ready to call me a cyber warrior, I want peace but the Indians should extract it military presence from Kashmir and keep just what is really needed for border security, then we can go and discuss the matter diplomatically.........

.
its same as qes chicken or egg was born before lolz man make peace and then talk on issues it will work if we have same hate attitude we can't talk better way

People don't see india as a threat anymore, that doesn't necessarily mean they like india.

.
China and pakistan are not enemies of India. However since the advent of the Bush and Obama administrations, the US is instilling hate between these countries in a divide and rule policy and in view of contaning the expansion of China.

The indian people have never been the enemy, it is the indian state that is our eternal enemy.

Be careful with your words friend. It is just the circumstances that both nations became independent in and some unfortunate leadership on either sides.

Indian media? I never see Pakistan being discussed in our tv shows except for terrorism related one. But in Pakistan, everything is compared with India. You guys still make up media stories about how partition occurred. Whether today's Pakistan was the intention of Mr. Jinnah. Whether India's secularism is the solution? Give me a break, everything you do is overshadowed with what India did or does. Pakistanis have severe identity crisis.
