New Delhi: Pakistan is in illegal and forcible occupation of about 78,000 sq kilometers of Indian territory in Jammu and Kashmir since 1948, the Lok Sabha was informed on Tuesday.

Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju said that under the so-called China-Pakistan boundary agreement of 1963, Pakistan illegally ceded 5,180 sq kms of Indian territory in Pakistan occupied Kashmir to China.

Rijiju said as regards the Indo-China border, there is no commonly delineated Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the border areas between India and China.

From time to time, on account of differences in the perception of the LAC, situations have arisen on the ground that could have been avoided had there been a common perception of the LAC, he said.

The Minister said there is no illegal occupation of territory by Bangladesh, Myanmar and Bhutan.

However, he said, in case of Indo-Bangladesh border, there have been pockets that have traditionally been under the possession of people of one country in the territory of another country and these are known as 'adverse possessions.

"Government remains continually vigilant and is firm in its resolve to take all necessary steps to effectively safeguard India's security and territorial integrity.

"As regards the Indo-China border, government regularly takes up any transgression along the LAC with the Chinese side through established mechanism including border personnel meetings, flag meetings, meetings of working mechanism for consultation and coordination on India-China border affairs and diplomatic channels," he said.

What condition? The Indian independence act(a joke to the people of the entire subcontinent) left the fate of millions to the whim of a few fat rajas.

With the only difference being Hyderabad's razakars started killing the locals em masse' which prompted Sardar Patel to order operation polo. Same was done in kashmir as well....pak army in guise of tribals attacked kashmir. Razakars in hyderabad attacking telanganites. Cant blame the Indian army here.

Like the Germans after World War 1, we must stealthily build up our armed forces to reclaim that which is ours. We must ensure that when we go to liberate Kashmir from Pakistani and Chinese occupation, we must crush the occupying forces with no mercy shown. Kashmir shall return to India. Until then we must isolate Pakistan for her back stabbing. No trade. No diplomacy. No cricket. Every Indian must be taught in history how we were betrayed by Pakistan. After we reclaim Kashmir, the vow must be that every Indian adult will be given a Tata Nano by the government of India as a celebration measure. India must declare a day of mourning, for Pakistan when we reclaim Kashmir from their unlawful and immoral occupation. Land forces, sea forces, airforces, nuke force..they must all be concentrated on the return of Kashmir. Bollywood shall make movies about our war and our victory. The world must know about the theft of our land.

Not an "excuse". See what the razakars did to the local populace. It's not coz of Indian army's "incitement" that Qasim Rizvi was stripped and kicked. Ask people from warangal...they will tell you the razakar's atrocities.
