I hope you are not a doctor since you would have been obligated by Hippocratic Oath not to discharge a sick patient from a hospital before he has gotten well. Afghanistan is still faces civil war and breakdown of services and you cannot send them back to misery and possibly certain death. Pakistan is co-operating with Afghanistan to end militancy in both countries and when normalcy returns these refugees will return to Afghanistan. Those refugees who do not want to go back to Afghanistan must be given Pakistani nationality.

Half of them are economic migrants. Real Afghan population should be 3-7 million. As for nationalities; no they shouldn't be given one. Modern states do not offer citizenships on a platter like this. The ones who bribed nationalities should be deported immediately, and their properties taken over.

Iran restricted the Afghan refugees to camps and did not allow them to settle them in other parts of Iran. Pakistan did not create a refugee policy consequently refugees flooded villages, towns and cities of Pakistan. When people have stake in country they live in they follow laws. Afghan refugees are in limbo neither Pakistanis nor oppurtunity to return to Afghanistan. They should be given Pakistani nationality and those who break the law must be jailed. Pakistani police must do their work and arrest criminals and jail them.

The ethnic balance has changed many parts of the country but overall the impact is not major issue. The refugees speak the same language and follow same religion and they will integrate in Pakistani society. There has been lot of displacements and hopefully things will get better. The federal and provincial government should spend more on development projects to give facilities to people in these regions.

Read my reply above. Afghanistan is still unstable for refugees to go back to Afghanistan. Many just want to stay in Pakistan with better facilities and some have been born in refugee camps and Afghanistan to them is a foreign country.

Then they should apply for Pakistani citizenship and we welcome them as our brothers and sisters. Find a good job and Settle anywhere in Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Multan or Islamabad.
But This namak haraam attitude of abusing the people who gave you shelter who tolerate your pro indian stance even living on our soil. Instead all they have to offer is terrorism and unrest. This should not be tolerated.
