Pakistan has spent $80 bn in terror war

There is no doubt about negative effect of this war on terror on pakistani economy ..but if pakistan was not involved in this war from the word 'go' it had to involve itself in later stages ..there was no escape ..
Now consider the situation where pakistan has not involved itself against the likes of western countries and terrorists are busy at cross border attack through pakistan ..what will be its effect on pakistan economy ? I dont think situation would have been better than current situation with all those sanctions from western countries ...

am sure more than 75 of the amount were given as aid by usa and uk...
and it received aid money from gulf which in turn revives terrorism.... Its a never ending process...
All we have seen is buying equipments for its defence against india...

Is there any end in sight to the ongoing terrorism? Or is it just a matter of containing them as and when the situation requires? It is costing Pakistan numerous lives and the Pakistani economy tons of money and as yet no end seems to be in sight
