PAKISTAN HAS BECOME A SAFE HEAVEN OF TERRORISTS: IRANIAN MP

That's the irony isn't it. Iran feels that it was very unfair for Western powers to label them as a state sponsor of terrorism.

But then, Iran now turns around and makes similar accusations towards Pakistan?

How should Pakistanis feel about that?

Seriously? Are you comparing these two? The west says Iran is a state sponsor terrorism (while it has the blood of millions on its hand), and one Iranian MP (let me reiterate, Iranian MP, not the president, leader, FM etc) has said something like this. Although Iran has constantly complained about cross-border attacks from Pakistan, but not a single senior Iranian official has ever called Pakistan an state sponsor of terrorism or any similar remarks. MPs say many random things in all countries, they even call for wars with other states, but at the end, they are all MPs and their word is not worth more.

Honestly, I didn't expect you to equal these two things.

You are right. It's not the same thing.

What I'm saying is that it is similar. Think about it from the perspective of the Pakistani members here, are you surprised that they are upset over this?

What is strange though, is that the words being used are almost the same word-for-word as the Indian and US governments have been using against Pakistan over the last few decades. Key words, terrorist safe havens.

I can agree that this was not an official Iranian statement. Infact Iranian President statement and ask was more cooperative. Having said that, who holds the leash on these MP? How does Iranian establishment know that this lone wolf MP is not in indian pocket and acting to harm relation between Iran and Pakistan?

On the tragic incident through, Pakistan has no motive or benefit to gain. Controlling terrorist who are backed up by india, US, Saudi and Israeli nexus is not an easy job. More and deeper intel sharing between Pakistan and Iran and Iran watching over the shoulder on what indians and its nexus are doing would go long way to stabilize the situation.

You my friend are a clown.
The 2nd link is about a sikh guy plotting against india.

You loved it, isn't it?

No he was not Sikh guy, he was Indian, a non state actor...Suck it. An Indian terrorist.

First link as well shows how murderer of innocent can get away under terrorist leader Modi.

So, you better remain quiet before I put the pants of India down in front of you...

Here it comes another one.. Non state Indian actors can be found in India, in abundance...

Can they be upset about words of this MP? Yes they can. But who has the right to be more upset in this case? Iranians or Pakistanis? We lost 9 border guards killed by terrorists coming from the Pakistani side of the border, now some Pakistanis are upset about words of an MP. ANY neutral observer would say it's our right to be angry and upset. But unfortunately, I never saw you taking any stance about that.

Pakistanis have been bashing Iran for months about some Indian guy who allegedly came from Iran, accused of spying. If it's true indeed, and he indeed came from Iran and was a spy, I give them right to demand an explanation from Iran.

But do you know what angers me? The fact that even when our border guards are killed in a cross-border attack, we should zip our mouth, say nothing, so that no Pakistani gets upset and even then we are still the bad guy. This is just beyond ridiculous.

I understand as a Chinese you might support or feel more for Pakistan, but a neutral stance from a respected member like you can also be appreciated.

Tasnim – Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi slammed Pakistan’s government for failing to prevent terror attacks against Iran from its soil, saying the neighboring country has become a “safe haven” for terrorist cells.

In a visit to the southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan, Boroujerdi expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of 10 Iranian border guards in a recent terrorist attack that was launched from inside Pakistan.Given that terror cells’ safe haven is located inside Pakistan and they (terrorists) cross the Islamic Republic of Iran’s borders from there, undoubtedly, the Pakistani government is responsible for the bitter incident and other similar cases,” the parliamentarian said.

He further emphasized that as Islamabad practically lacks the ability to control its borders, Iranian forces have the right to take the necessary actions and respond to such attacks.

Takfiri militants shot to death 10 Iranian border guards who were patrolling on the frontier with Pakistan on Wednesday.

The Iranian troops were martyred in an ambush by the terrorists in Mirjaveh in the Iran-Pakistan border’s zero-point.

A terrorist group calling itself Jaish al-Adl has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack.

Speaking to the Tasnim News Agency late on Wednesday, Spokesman for the Iranian Police Brigadier General Saeed Montazer-al-Mahdi said the border guards were killed by long-range weapons firing from inside Pakistan.

The Pakistani government is to blame for the incident and they should be accountable for it, he added.

Completely understandable and measured statement. If one look from neutral standpoint, level of attention and importance Pakistani official should provided, were not there. Even with hundreds of other issues, hope Pakistan get to pay attention and take care of the issue. In geo strategic transitional time we are living, Pakistan and Iran being on same page with Russia and China is utmost important for their own and for the region.

What's with these cringy attempts to propitiate the Pakistanis here with your comments that make you seem clearly clueless about this matter?

Iran was attacked by terrorists coming from the pakstani side. No matter how much Iran secures its side of the border, as long as terrorists are free to roam around in the pakistanis side, eventually some of them will leak through and cause damage. This has happened many times and now the Iranian MP has come making this statement.

You're trying too hard to get in the good side of the Pakistani here and in the process making yourself look clueless about the topic.

How this Indian terrorist landed in Pakistan from Iran?, if you're saying border is 100% secured from your side.

He is about to hanged in coming weeks...Do you realize the sensitivity of this matter? Or you complain when it only hurts you??

I am trying to be neutral, though I'll admit that I'm probably not succeeding all that well.

But do you know what angers me? The fact that even when our border guards are killed in a cross-border attack, we should zip our mouth, say nothing, so that no Pakistani gets upset and even then we are still the bad guy. This is just beyond ridiculous.

Well, that's what we do whenever there is an ETIM-linked terrorist attack in Xinjiang.

Because of several factors:

1) Pakistan has nothing to gain by being complicit in such attacks, in fact it hurts them

2) Pakistan has lost more people (by far) due to these terrorist elements, due to a lack of control over the Afghanistan-Pakistan border region

3) Because we can't do anything about it (outside our borders) without getting help from Pakistan

All roads point to the necessity of strengthening ties with Pakistan further, and expressing concerns through backdoor channels to avoid public embarrassment and drama. I'll tentatively say that this approach seems to be working.

Just my opinion.

.
India and Afghanistan has been saying this along since long time. People like Hafiz Saeed and Masood openly threaten India and Pakistan does nothing. Now Iran too is saying this now. The world should take note of this.
india nd afghanistan both have proved connections with terrorists targetting Pakistan.

.
How is this the same thing as armed terrorists going from Iranian border and killing pakistanis?
So you're assuming Iran knew about this guy and kept a closed eye? Pakistan should have communicated with Iran and dealt with this situation, lets not pretend we know what's going on. As far as we're concerning they could be dealing with the matter.

The situation with pakistan is much different. You are simoly unable to secure your nations from armed terrorists.

This azzhole was running whole terrorist network from Chabahar...He is responsible for death of Pakistanis. He will pay for it...

Pakistan has almost won the war on terror...Whole world acknowledges that...Terror has been reduced significantly...Countries lining up to join CPEC...Our general was made chief of 41 armies' alliance because he and his army proved their metal against terrorists...

Terrorists are surrendering/running...

Attacks can happen anywhere around the world...India has the most bomb blast in world...What do you say about that?

Yes and after these complains, Iranians were given clear permission to do what you like with these terrorist on Pakistan side of the border as our hands are busy with India and Afghanistan on Pak/afghan border and India/ Pakistan border not to mention India using Iranian soil to launch terrorist attacks against Pakistan. Then the Iranian MP launching verbal attacks against Pakistan seriously!

.
Iran even brings the Americans to their knees,
so you didn't signed any deal and are still making bomb. By the way, they put sanctions on you for decades and still you left your nuclear program under pressure and here i am listening great iranian fairy tail about bringing americans to it's knees.
You suffered due to sanctions and you left your stance. You lost it. But admitting is difficult for you i guess.
