Pakistan Has A Secret Weapon Called DRDO

He was talking this in the very limited context of Army Ordinance Factory and it's slow and inefficient ways .

Compare than DRDO with POF and similar things, even here POF is more efficient and produces quality armaments compared to DRDO...

DRDO range of products and variants are much more than POF true that...Pakistan has separate organizations for other defence products, POF is mostly into ammos...

FYI IOF isn't even part of DRDO . You can compare IOF with POF .
BTW i want to which quality armaments are produced in Pakistan?

I'd love to see @Windjammer or any other Pakistani who mocks DRDO to show me products like Akash, Dhruv, HUMSA, Rajendra, Tarang, AWACS, XV-2004, 3d-CAR, Agni-V, Shaurya, Astra, Nag, and so on to come out of their industries.

And that's just off the top of my head, and not even the best in the list.

DRDO is an umbrella organization of so many labs, many of them having achieved stellar levels of success in recent years, developing what only a handful of other countries have the capability to do, on a shoestring budget. Of course, they are nowhere as good as their American or European counterparts, but for Pakistanis to start threads mocking them, is like me mocking a multi millionaire for not being as rich as a billionaire.

Some DRDO products:

Heck, if given one day, I bet I can name a hundred plus DRDO products that Pakistan has been unable to come up with, and will be so in the foreseeable future. Unless of course, they want to brag about Chinese products as usual.
speaking of Dhruv, how is Ecuador doing?

It does not fill your Basic operational needs.

Thus my first post
according to indian media it has an endurance of just 1 hr, in comparison to 3 plus hrs of JFT, which makes its angle of attack in mere 600s km.....while JFT has more then 3000 km, thats because of teja's tiniest a/c ever made that too is based on 1958's design of Mirage 3/4, which incidentally is one of such fighters Pakistan is replacing with Jf17 in her airforce.

It really really need to increase its internal fuel carrying capacity, thats the main reason for its rejection. That way the IAF can only use it as a point defence fighter because it cant fly for longer then 1 hr.

Dhruv's failure in Ecuador boils to HAL's after sales support and pilot training of EAF. On the contrary if you see Dhruv's service in IA/IAF/IN, it's nothing less than exceptional even with the crashes that have happened. Even the follow on developments of Dhruv namely Rudra and LCH are on track with production and deliveries underway as we speak.

Ecuador issue is purely that of bad management and greed. Ecuador govt wanted a lot more in maintenance for free. HAL wasn't ready for a loss since they sold it without a profit and wanted to charge later.

The actual user, FAE had no issues. Bird no fly if no proper maintenance contract. For two years HAL did it for free and it served perfectly.

Currently they operate nothing but old two bladed Bell choppers that once killed the Army Chief of Guatemala. Some countries just can't pay for maintenance.

But still DRDo failed to make nirbhy working... Why ? Because it requires advance technology mate, blastic missiles are not difficult to made even hothis of Yemen having blastic missiles ...

If we go by certain standards, Nirbhay would have been declared operational in 2014, when the second trial (a success at full range) was conducted. Other four trials ranged from success to partial to failure, at different configurations.

And now it'll be tested with a homemade engine. What a failure!

As for "blastic" missiles, read up on topics like Shaurya and CEP to know how different they can be.

Speaking of China.. You live in Azad Kashmir, right? Have you seen any Chinese there in connection with CPEC?
I have a , 4 years ago in a wedding there on the way Naar, a new bridge a big one was being constructed by them we invited them to the wedding for food

This was a 2.1 ton jet powered robotic missile with a 250 kilometer range and a .9 ton warhead

What if a phased out (service life) jet engines (FP-7-, Mirages etc) is used in such missile programs. As no threat to human life (I mean ours :) in case of flight), and a few more hours of service (till they hit) of engine don't make them **** to fail, but in case there is in-built mechanism of suicide in air, Missing that is too risking too :(, so firing multiple from different sites can be afforded as we meet our economics.
Engine being most expensive component of missile we can have extra missile in backup by using said engines. Lot of money saved as engine being most expensive component of missile(service life (in minutes) and service probability (war times) is some what too little and) and no law binding the use of them in missiles.
All above logics are based on hyper-common sense, experts know better how much these are practice and nothing is important than WHO HIT FIRST.
