Indian soldier had drowned and his body reportedly swept towards Pakistani side along Working Boundary

Pakistan handed over body of an Indian Border Security Force (BSF) soldier to Indian authorities after he drowned and swept towards Pakistan along the Working Boundary, the military said on Tuesday.

“Indian BSF soldier Sub-Inspector Paritosh Mondal had drowned while crossing Aik Nullah along Working Boundary inside Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and his body was reported to have swept towards Pakistan side,” said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The security force had requested Pakistan Rangers to search the body. “Pakistan Rangers Punjab undertook a search operation, recovered the body and handed over to Indian BSF today as per military procedure,” the military’s media wing added.

The goodwill gesture was made despite continued ceasefire violations by the Indian troops along the Line of Control (LoC) and Working Bounday.

On Sunday, an elderly woman and a 13-year-old boy were martyred and three other civilians including two women injured in unprovoked Indian firing along the LoC on Sunday.

The Foreign Office has summoned Indian officials several times to condemn the unprovoked firing.

. . . . . . . .
We should have also taken pictures of BSF guys with white flags and then should have paraded them on TV channels calling it to be a surrender

But then again. We have this disease of getting high on humanity with an enemy that doesn't deserve it

. . .
Lol no one shall say this, this is goodwill gesture and thats it
Anhinandan was a goodwill gesture.
Imran Khan's calls for dialogue and peace were goodwill gestures.
Kartarpur is a goodwill gesture.
I am afraid our goodwill gestures don't count for much because Indian arrogance will always see them as signs of weakness rather than for what they are, gestures of goodwill.
