Before being thrashed by Bangladesh in ODI series you lost to BCB XI in a close game before the but you need to improve soon or follow a path something similar to Zimbabwe.

Got to know about whitewash just now on an online news paper.

Pakistan whitewashed by Bangladesh is a bit shocking for me. Pakistan wasn't playing so bad in the later part of world cup though.
Was it the same squad that played in worldcup??

they have come a long way and its just beautiful to have another credible team in our sub continent I have good hopes for Afghanistan too
we can have our own mini world cup series one day

as far as Pakistani cricket is concerned I am pretty much indifferent. I do come across the news or talks because it cant be avoided sometimes but I dont pursue it due to their chronic cheating and selling themselves to bookies which is not stopped and it is really really unfair to the teams that play them.

I mean its a GIVEN that they will loose world cup match to India, you can just bet now for next world cup and you will see Indian odds are high already.
I have not much issues with loosing matches. we lost a lot during Imran Khan's time but its the way and blatantly they are lost and then the way islam was shoved through the throats of this game. so either the players were growing beards (sans moustaches) or selling themselves to highest bidders I dont even know their names this is how much I have alienated myself to the game so i watch a game of other nations as you will watch say West indies and New Zealand .

That can't be true...i agree they are going through a rough patch but you got to look at the circumstances...when was the last match played in Pakistan?? Pakistan is a great team and have produced great talents...and they will bounce back...cricket in South Asia is worshiped and there is no scarcity of talent anywhere....

I am sure AF will be a great team soon and yeah Asia cup is like a mini world cup...

No doubt they played very well and deserved to win but lets not be too harsh on our team. Had you heard of names like Sami Aslam, Mohamamd Rizwan, Saad Nasim prior to this series? All three were debutantes. Ajmal is bowling with a new action.. There is a new captain and even many of the elder players in the team have not played in a while such as Junaid Khan and especially Umar Gul. Our team is in a transition phase where many of our former regulars such as Misbah, Akmal and Afridi have left. Losing to Bangladesh should be a big wake up call hence and hopefully we will bounce back from this very strongly.
