Good job Pakistan should forge every visa possible and bring the system down to it's knees and at the height of our waist.

That's a pretty poor statement for a diplomat, I'm surprised this hasn't been condemned, no action from the media or the FO..................

The Pakistani government is not known for the speed or appropriateness of its responses, particularly in matters of foreign policy, is it?

Considering that by definition, a perfect forgery is never found out, the figures quoted, if correct, only mean that the incidence of forgery is relatively high, but not that Pakistan is somehow the leader in this aspect. This is related more to fraudsters trying to make money off of those desperate enough to do anything to leave the country, and some causes of that have already been mentioned.

BTW, many other governments are the true leaders in passport and visa forgeries, the foremost example being Israel.

People are paying in excess of Rs. 300,000 to "travel agents" to get a visit visa to UAE even though it costs much less than that. Around PKR 50,000 including a two-way ticket alongwith the fact that it's one of the easiest to obtain.
Many opt for an "Azad Visa" that is nothing more than a way for a partner company to earn some extra cash by asking for an Employment Visa fees plus a hidden comission.

There is no denying the abundance of fraudsters in our country but you are right in that only those forgeries are accounted for which have been discovered or caught. The ones that got away do not appear on records.
