Pakistan getting 05 Ecureuil Helicopters

FC is where these helicopters are most likely to end up right? That was the plan back in 2016. Or do you think this is a separate order/requirement? I think it is the same as those FC ones.

These are for army aviation. For some reason these fennec orders are always delayed because of Pakistan special requirements.

It will be interesting to know if these are 5 helicopters or 5 + 4 as four other are also mentioned in the year book. Also there were plans to equip some FC units with the same helicopters so if these are confirmed of PAA then there are more to come for FC.

Yes possible as Pakistan always purchased in block of 10s.

Nothing special, just having them tailored to provide the same role the jetrangers were doing earlier; scout for attack helicopters

That is Z-10 and this is not to replace Cobras but to provide more support to our future main attack helicopter which will be most likely T-129

Cobras. Only 26 Cobras need to be replaced because we don't need to replace 10 received in 2007 and 14 received in 2010.

24 Cobras will remain in service with 4 Mi-35 already ordered and as speculated 40 T-129 is going to make our attack helicopters strength to 68 and by adding 12 Bell Ah-1z it will be 80 attack helicopters.

All Cobras will be replaced. There are chances those which came late are shifted to Para Military but Army will not use them for long now. T-129 will come and in total I think Pakistan Army will want 100 to 120 dedicated Attack Helicopters.

100-120 dedicated Attack helicopters will be great as they can serve in anti-tank roles. Pakistan Army will go for a mix of Mi-35, Z-10, T-129 and Bell ah-1z viper with T-129 getting the biggest order. Remember three Z-10 are still in service with Pakistan army.
