LOL, because we make good footballs that is why. Recently Malaysia got their asses handed to them with 10-0 and in the next match the Malaysians fan lost their minds and started rioting.

Football needs men to be at their perfect physical shape. And along with that you need skills and football knowledge, which we lack here at Subcontinent and even China. There is a huge amount of investment needed for coaches training, youth training and infrastructure, something not possible for Pakistan (or even Bangladesh). Natural physical structure is also a disadvantage.

There is no shame of never playing in the FIFA World Cup, it is has more members than nations in the World.

It is shameful. A nation of our size and potential should easily be able to field 11 men decent enough to at least carry us to a world cup. Unfortunately cricket for some reason has become an obsession for us although it is one heck of a boring sport. The only reason I watch it is because Pakistan plays the sport.

India had fielded a good Football team, in the 1950s
We qualified for the 1950 FIFA world cup
We also won the Olympics Bronze in football in 1956

Not at all. South Asian sports interests and priorities are different. Also, we don't dedicate enough time, and resources for the sport. Nothing to ashamed at all.

With a population of 200 million there can be no excuse.

Football is a big earner and much bigger than cricket.

If Pakistan was able to set up a domestic league I am confident they could attract 50,000 people at the stadium. And in football, India is not in charge so many many teams to play against.

Are you going to wait till India manages to qualify for a World Cup before getting your asses in gear?
