Pakistan finally adopts int’l safety standards for vehicles

No need to be happy because we'd still be using 1970s tin-dabba cars. No new player is coming in country anytime soon. In a cabinet meeting, a minister asked Razaq Dawood about implementation of new car policy and entry of new players, he refused to work further on this, the debate turned hot and Dawood said, "You can do this but over my dead body." and the matter was settled down.

It's about damn time they start implementing international safety standards, for too long these greedy car companies have been selling substandard cars for extortionate prices.
