The issue is distribution and affordability.
India when it reached 100 % electrification, also faced these 2 challenges.
But you are a non serious poster, rejoicing at the misfortune of normal Pakistanis.
why do you care ? is he your dad ?LOL since when did you care about Pakistanis Showbaz cheerleader?
why do you care ? is he your dad ?
Pakistan should urgently consider investing in renewables and sustainable energy.
Idiot alert!! What the fcuk do you know about Showbabza and his electric plants. The problem for your information is not lack of generation of power capacity but lack of oil and coal to power it. It is a testament to Showbaza's corruption that despite having ample reserves of coal in Thar( maybe low quality but should not impact energy generation) it is stipulated in the contracts that the coal for these IPP units will come from South Africa. And we all think this Houbara (Sorry houbara bustard for defiling your name by comparing you with this scum) is sooooo good for Pakistan.. HONESTLY!!!!!nawaz put up a lot of powerplants in his last stint as PM , solving the generation end.
His replacement should have improved the distribution system but was too busy in propaganda.
Upfront cost of renewable units is high. We have hydroelectric/nuclear units in the works but they will start coming online in 2024.Pakistan should urgently consider investing in renewables and sustainable energy.

A failure COAS. He is so busy appeasing America. An American stooge. He forgot his own people in Pakistan. In Balochistan and elsewhere people don't have basic facilities to survive. The army chief is busy in photo ops appeasing foreigners.
Should we give flying fvck about Ukraine? When the Western nations annihilated native peoples and colonised many brown lands across the globe it was all dandy. Today we are supposed to cry and feel sorry for Ukraine.

There is an entire town area in Punjab which is now covered in toxic smog due to a coal power plant thereread about high sulfur coal and high ash content , fool.
The subcontinent has abundance of this quality of coal . The powerplants and steel plants have to be especially made to use this poor quality coal and its expensive to operate in comparison with lower efficiencies.
And solar plants are much cheaper to set up then conventional but their operational characteristics, like obviously no generation for half the day and during rains, make them unsuitable as stable providers.
Best are nuclear at the moment or clean coal power plants.
