PAF Vipers if coupled with a LEP, can sustain their fleet for another 2 decades atleast. This means sooner or later, they will have to undergo a capability upgrade program. This will place F-16s again at the top considering they are already being honed to tackle 4.5 Gen threats.

Aggressors were introduced in PAF around 2017. Based on USAF concept, PAF Aggressors are dedicated pilots who study enemy tactics & fly their aircraft in the same manner as enemy does. Their aircraft systems are also tweaked to simulate performance of adversary weapons

India's main aircraft are twin engined heavy and medium weights, we need Chinese aggressors for proper training.

The US has used F-5 and F-16 as aggressors. What you're referring to is DACT.
