Pakistan exports 201,000kg mushrooms worth $12.930m in 2016

. . .
What? Who can possibly hate mushrooms? :o:

Tomatoes...yes I get that but mushrooms....how are we even friends? :tsk:

I don't like Tomatoes either if that makes you feel better. Olives too:bad:. With mushrooms it's the texture I don't like. They're very rubbery. Mushrooms are another one of those not very common ingredients in Norwegian foods. Norway has wild mushrooms, but they're either the kind you don't want to eat or the psychedelic variety.

I guess it's a lack of exposure but I really don't like them.

I've never been brave enough to order one....how was it? :undecided:

Delicious. Graham cracker crust, chocolate chips and frosting base and a sugary coating... I'd order another if I wasn't concerned for the pizza boys safety driving around in the snow and ice at night.

But I'd never say anything bad about junk foods so you'll just have to get one for yourself. Maybe even order from Kat? Her business has a website and does catering:azn:.

. .
5 cents... what a guy:angry:. Unfortunately for you I hate mushrooms with a burning passion:D.

So I did order a pizza, but well, it's probably not what you think.

Or if you know me it's exactly what you think:woot:. Chocolate pizza. Forget dinner, I went straight to dessert.

Owww! My tooth hurts from just looking at that.

The strawberries look yummy though with some fresh naturally sweet buffalo milk cream taken right off the top of milk boiled in a crockpot.

Best pizza I had was a simple "Sicilian" (not really but what he called it) one of my drivers made when I was managing at a US pizza store: 12" dough slapped to a 14" screen (almost a mini New Yorker), no sauce, cheddar and mozarella only. Something like this (without the sauce):

I felt the crispness and gooieness, the bread-to-cheese ratio and the sweetness-to-saltiness-to-sourness-to-tartness-to-umaminess ratio were simply perfect. As Master Bourdain (and Ramsay and Stein) say the simplest things are always the best. Three simple locally-sourced ingredients (four at most) definitely make for the most delicious dishes and I respect most the chefs who follow this recipe.

Incidentally while I was trained to make cookie-cutter, machine-processed looking pizza pies, could never keep sauce off the (not-quite-round) edges and was lambasted by my training director (he actually loved me, called me 'son' even though he was much younger, and let me get away with a lot). However, the company (through customer surveys) started making artisinal pizza like below and made me feel vindicated with my small triumph.

Try shiitake or other mushrooms if you do not like the gumminess of button mushrooms.
