Pakistan exports 1209 mln ton oranges in six months

.
Pakistan has exported 1209.1 million ton of oranges during first six months of current fiscal year which contributed millions of dollar to national kitty.

1209.1 million tons? About 1.2 billion tons? How can this figure be true?

These are the world's top producers from a few years ago, but the figure quoted above does not seem to be correct:

I think its Kinnu, Pakistan doesnt produce that much Oranges

How sad.

What manufactured goods does Pakistan export in large quantities?

Talk about that.

Exporting Oranges? lol

Clothes, retail, leather, but lacking high-tech and automotives, I believe.

Think of Pakistan surpassing Florida in exporting fruit around the world. The country is slowly moving away from the mind-set of agriculture and livestock though.

Pakistani Kinnows have been making their presence felt this year in Kuwait, as they are avail in all hyper markets thro out Kuwait with very reasonable price and taste GOOD :enjoy:

Indian oranges are fake just like their fake basmati rice.

ITS NOT ORANGE ! ITS kinnu ;)

All of us are aware of oranges and their benefits, but not many are aware of the kinnow fruit, which is a type of citrus fruit cultivated mainly in the Punjab province of Pakistan. And Pakistan is the largest kinnow producing country in the world. 95% of the citrus fruits produced in Pakistan come from the Punjab province, and out of these, 70% are kinnow mandarin fruits.
