Turkey is really like Germany in term of Engineering , we are lucky to be in such a circumstance to collaborate with Turkey.

I think the first time I ever saw product manufacturing quality from Turkish company I was really left with a solid impression the work quality is similar to that of Germans

But obviously Turkish products are tremendous local effort

is it not that after certain number of years the product no longer requires permission from the nation of origin to make mods and re-conditioning of products? like Blk15 F16 no longer need permission from the US to tamper with!

There is something called 'contractual obligations'. The US ones are bitter, even for the Block 15. They do not provide the source codes to integrate non-US / NATO equipment with F-16s.

The French are more flexible.
