That is by far one of the most ill thought statements ever.
No offence. Our maximum ability to deal with the M-109 variants is simply repair and maintenance.
Though there are a couple of people in Gunjrawala who successfully replicated certain components. During 2008.
Who said I was referring the gun. The guys I'm talking about replicated the entire chassis. But they made a better replica then chinese
My team was responsible for it's disposal.Reason official necessity.
Similary the rubber pads on the tracks of M 109. Pakistanis as a whole have much potential , but everyone wants kickbacks though that is a seperate issue.
If we have the production line then it is going to increase our options...We know truck manufacturing line is required...If we have the required deign specification then the modified local version from Gujranwala could be used with some cherry picked weapon systems available from other sources. That way we would have not one but two potent systems...
Yes that is correct...They would not give the latest system because Russia is flexing and reconsidering the 1993 Independence acts of various Countries that were its parts. The Serbs are well aware that if Pakistan is able to get this technology Transfer then inevitably it would end up in Russia's hands which would help them to counter Serb forces in case of war which is highly likely. You're saying we shoild get TOT of a M 109 .Which variant because the Paladin will be given to us not It's technology un less the XM-series becomes operational.
Paladin though are going to be replaced by XM2001 Crusader but that does not leave the possibility that the Paladin would not go into action on the European Front against Russia...Same as we are currently seeing the A-10's and F-15's being deployed all across Europe.
Similar to XM series can be made locally / with some help from Turkey or Korea...Pakistan already has level 7 protection capability...
