The defence.pak should have called Yahya Khan a traitor and ZA Bhutto a roll of toilet paper. They were instrumental to get rid of the east. However, the west finally became good riddance for us. There have been plenty of insults on SMR before here. Why now?

I suspect its because the discussion here (by BD people themselves) on how fake/rigged the recent elections were.

My discussions (with proof) on fake/low credible Bangladeshi economic statistics can't have helped either

Seriously they are banning a website because of insults....let that sink in for a second hahahaha.

And some BD members here want us to take them (esp their govt) seriously?

I'd say pretty much every Pakistani leader has been called various insults including traitor by now....by Pakistanis themselves mostly.

Don't know much about the incident. But if any website regularly posts derogatory remarks about the founding father of another nation then obviously that nation holds the right to bann that particular website. There's nothing wrong in it.

Similarly many websites that used to post derogatory remarks about respectable religious figures have also got banned in Bangladesh along with most of the **** sites.

did you not notice them saying that this here PDF is run by Pakistan? less than ten minutes spent on a look up would have told them shonar James bonds that it is not even hosted in Pakistan let alone being run by them. I think they got confused by the logo similarity with Pakistani coat of Arms

It's getting quite annoying now. Many popular online gaming and file sharing sites have also been blocked. Hasina should take things easy and slow. Yes, I can use proxy or con to access those sites but it severely slows down my Internet

While I have no problem with her blocking the site that defamed the founding father of our nation, but she shouldn't have blocked all the other important sites along with it.
