It was to do with the "Halaf Nama" in the election form, to be completed by the candidate.
In the original form it was "I testify that Nabi Karim Hazrat MUHAMMAD (SAW) is the last Prophet of ALLAH" (taking the name of our Prophet was mandatory).
In the amended (new version) the name of the Prophet (SAW) was removed - and the new statement became vague, resulting in bearing witness to the Prophethood - without name (this is not exact, but a very close description of what happened).

Indeed its a dangerous trend, it can happen to any politician, this was in direct response to those PTI fan boys/paid activists who were sharing videos of rival politicians being countered by mobs, and they were making jokes, so it was a reminder to them, that it can happen to any politician, so all must discourage such attitude, regardless of their political affiliation.

65 NA candidates contesting polls on Jeep symbol in Punjab

ISLAMABAD: At least 65 candidates are contesting for the National Assembly seats in Punjab alone on Jeep symbol, a symbol which has drawn interest among political observers after various PML-N defectors asked for this particular sign for the election 2018.
Top PML-N defectors, including former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and provincial minister Zaeem Qadri, are also contesting election on the Jeep symbol.
According to official final list of candidates in 120 constituencies of Punjab province, uploaded on the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) website on Wednesday, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has fielded the highest number of candidates in the province.
The former ruling party led by Nawaz Sharif has given tickets to 102 candidates while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of Imran Khan has awarded party tickets to 100 candidates in these 120 constituencies. The ECP has not uploaded the final list for 21 constituencies of the province in Lahore, Rajanpur and Rahimyar Khan owing to pending court cases, says the official portal.
Surprisingly, the newly-founded religious party Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan has also emerged as one of the biggest parties in the province in terms of candidates with 97 tickets awarded to its members.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has fielded 98 contestants in these areas for the election 2018 in Punjab province alone.
A few days ago, more than 11 candidates of PML-N had returned their party tickets and sought the Jeep symbol from the ECP instead of their previous Tiger symbol.
The famous among the revolting members were Sardar Farood Amjad Khosa of DG Khan, Sardar Mohsin Hasan Khan, Usama Abdul Karim, Sher Ali Gorchani, and Sultan Mehmood Hunjar.
However, Ch Nisar on Tuesday disassociated himself from other independent candidates in Punjab contesting on the Jeep symbol. A day earlier PML-N leader Maryum Nawaz had alleged that the symbol of Jeep was becoming the symbol of “aliens”. Her father Nawaz Sharif had also questioned as to why candidates had been forced to “climb on jeep”. Maryum had tweeted that every vote for jeep is a vote for “Khalai Makhlooq” (aliens).

The undecided voters will decide Pakistan’s future

In the upcoming general elections, undecided voters or those reluctant to vote have emerged as a key battleground for political parties, surveys conducted by Gallup Pakistan and Pulse Consultant have revealed.
This group is at 20% in the latest poll conducted by Gallup compared with 26% for PML-N and 25% for PTI at the national level. Six months ago, this third block of voters was only 10%. While PML-N is the largest loser during this period, the undecided block is the largest gainer.
In the latest poll by the Pulse Consultants, this group combined with those who do not intend to vote stands at 14% which makes them the fourth largest block after PTI at 30%, PML-N at 27% and PPP at 17%.
According to Gallup Pakistan, six months ago, PML-N was ahead of PTI in voting intentions by 8%. The situation remained largely unchanged through March/April. However, the gap has closed to merely 1% in the May/June measurement. The closure of the gap is owed to an 8% decline in the voting intention for the incumbent PML-N in the closing month of its five-year tenure in government. In the poll conducted by Pulse Consultants, the situation for PML-N has worsened, over the last year. While PML-N was ahead of PTI in voting intentions by 13% in 2017, in 2018 they have dropped behind PTI by 3%.
Thus, according to Gallup Pakistan, while voting intentions for PTI remain largely static over the last 6 months, the PML-N decline by 8%, and the rise of undecided by 10%, has made the electoral contest neck and neck, between the incumbent PML-N and the challenger PTI. Although the poll by Pulse Consultants shows undecided voters to decrease by 2% their sheer volume cannot be ignored.
According to Gallup Pakistan and Pulse Consultants forecast, the forthcoming election campaign and the mood of 20% of voters (according to Gallup) and 14% of voters (according to Pulse) who list themselves as “undecided” in May/June may turn the vote count on July 25 in favour of either of the top two contenders.

According to Islamabad High Court's verdict almost all political parties in the parliament were responsible for change in Khatm e Nabuwwat bill, including PMLN & PTI.

The notable jeep symbol candidates with any hope of winning are ones who returned SHER symbol are just 11 plus Ch. Nisar and Zaeem...even if they all win are just 13 candidates...rest of the 52 out of 65 are just political nobodys who will be lucky to get a few hundred votes.
As posted earlier, The game to raise hue and cry by PMLN Paid media is to focus on jeep candidates...while their own loyals who are trying to fool people are also running as independent candidates on different symbols due to public animosity against PMLN on failed khatmenabowat law changes:

Isn't it double standard by PMLN that of it suits you, you say it's win of truth like Hudaibya or Kh.Asif case etc BUT start crying foul for Nawaz who has failed to show a single proof of legitimacy of his amassed ill gotten wealth and Maryams forged docs???
Do you promise that you will not malign state institutions for working against just Noora league but everyone who has wronged???
