Bajwa is Showing his masters that he is loyal to them and not Pakistan.

Exactly! He has clearly shown his masters that no matter what the Government says he is loyal to them and will lick their boots.

I also feel that it is also a signal that he doesn't stand with the Government and foreign threats which the Army is supposed to deal with is not his concern, he would rather side with the foreign bully rather then stand and defend the country's interest in clear opposition to the Government's stated policy.

Why the politicians dont learn? Never give extension to a chief and always appoint a chief on merit. Yet imran khan out of all made the same blunder.

Bhai bas kardo. IK was an experiment of the army. They brought him in power. He failed to deliver and now dragging everyone through the mud including the establishment.

If you are talking about Army being triggered by Imran objecting to appointment of new ISI chief for a while, Army really has to be some soyboy with sensitive ego to make that an issue, even after successfully convincing Imran. This is some next level snowflakery if they are triggered by a difference of opinion with Government. If that is the case they deserve the shit they get for interfering in politics. Here was Imran fully behind the Idea of a hybrid sort of system, and Army back stabbed him if they really are onboard with Americans and their vessels who are ready to be polish American shoes.

it was just clash of ego, two egoistic idiots have destroyed whole nation and complete reputation of Armed Forces.

It's simple he's promoting populism, and he tried to interfere with the army politics as well.

As failures began to haunt the IK govt & the noise & combined opposition began to haunt, frictions rose between the Political Govt & the GHQ. Imran wanted to keep the DG ISI till the retirement of present COAS & then elevate him to the next Chief. A General officer cannot be made Army Chief unless he has commanded a fighting Corp for at least a year. DG ISI did not fill this criteria if he stayed in ISI till November. His elevation to COAS would have destroyed Army's structure & discipline. He was sent to Peshawar. But problems between IK & GQB did not end here. General Faiz had become highly controversial during his tenure as DG ISI & his elevation as Army Chief would create serious problems for the institution of COAS & its role in the country as the arbitrator of the last resort. IK should have taken a middle path here instead of sticking to guns of appointing Gen Faiz as the next COAS. He could have easily avoided all confrontations by naming a neutral non political Lt General from the Corp Commanders to settle the issue for all times. He did not.

For a moment, lets forget Bajwa's comments about Ukraine and Russia, what he said about relationship with the US, less than 48hrs after his Prime Minister has gone on record to accuse US of meddling into internal affairs of their country, shows a lot where the Army stands.

There are only two conclusions here;

Either the Prime Minister is making an elephant out of nothing, and the Army does not see any legitimate threat.

or

Prime Minister and the Establishment have different foreign policy views.

You have stated the obvious which every man and his dog in Pakistan can see except a few exceptionals here on the forum.

Government of Pakistan has already stated our position , and Engaged China in matter

General Bajwa should have maintained middle posture

No need to Turmp up USA , government of Paistan has already stated USA status is same as our relation with "Madagascar" or "Canarry Islands" , equal relations. Everyone is equal and we will trade with all nations of world

Just maintain a middle ground , let the policy of Government of Pakistan stay it's course it is a very neutral , respectful stance for all other nations of world

Looks silly as no other country's General gives such statements they maintain a distance from such statement

How did IK fail to deliver

I mean look at the economy and the mess of a foreign policy. It's like he's fighting with himself.

Our own ambassador wrote that letter and it's a normal thing. Diplomats do show disdain and concerns. Since it's IK, he made all of this about himself.
