NEW DELHI- Leader of India’s Congress party Rahul Gandhi on Sunday took a jibe at BJP minister Rajnath Singh, saying that while he agrees that Pakistan is trying to divide India along religious lines, the Indian home minister and his “boss” Prime Minister Narendra Modi have also been doing the same.

Responding to the remarks of Singh that Pakistan has been “conspiring” to divide India on religious lines, Rahul tweeted: “Yes Rajnath Singhji Pakistan is trying to divide India along religious lines; has it struck you that you & your boss have been doing the same?”

Addressing a Martyrs’ Day function in Kathua in Occupied Kashmir, the Indian home minister said, “Pakistan is conspiring to divide India on religious lines but it will not succeed. We were divided in 1947 on religious basis. We have not been able to forget that… All Indians are brothers, whether they are born from the womb of a Hindu mother or a Muslim mother.”

Singh said Pakistan has already been split into two parts and if it will not mend its ways it will soon be split into ten parts.

Talking about the repeated violation of ceasefire by Pakistani forces, the Indian minister mentioned that even after the Kargil war “then prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee extended hand of friendship towards Pakistan. But they chose to violate ceasefire. Our forces will not fire first, but they will respond when provoked.”

Referring to the surgical strike by the Indian Army post the Uri terror attack, he said, “I want to assure that this government will never let India to bow its head before anyone and will always give befitting reply to Pakistan’s attack.”

I pity at this coward cat , when did pakistan ever gave any statements regarding indian muslims or religious in india ? What I see is india is always giving statements about balochistan and sending it's spies while we didn't do anything as such for Indian Muslims .

As long as Modi rules, and the likes of Tarek Fatah and Subramanian Swamy, we as Pakistanis are happy, Indians would be in self destruction mode, I have said this numerous times, India's vulnerability is many times higher than any average country because of internal religious faultlines, which can only be exacerbated if a Hindu Right wing govt is at the helm.
