Although this is in context to the articles posted by Indians about Zardari seeking more time from India as per the Indian PM, i have opened up a new thread in which the statement is completely rejected. Mods however can merge the thread as deem fit.

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Thursday Pakistan did not ask for more time for crackdown on the terrorists involved in Mumbai attacks.
Qureshi said all the outstanding issues will be brought on the table in the next Indo-Pakistan talks at foreign secretaries level.
It should be mentioned that Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said on Wednesday that Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari had sought more time to act against anti-India militants because Islamabad's fight with the Taliban had entered a crucial phase.
"He did mention to me the difficulties Pakistan is facing in controlling terrorism and asked us to bear with him, to give him some more time," Singh told reporters on his way back from Russia's Yekaterinburg, where the two leaders met on Tuesday.
