Calm down @MastanKhan , the military provides plenty of experienced contractors to the Saudis and to other Gulf countries especially Bahrain, for the time being they should be sufficient as I highly doubt the Houthis are going to launch a blitzkrieg into the kingdom. Beside I highly doubt the UAE and Saudis would provide their cutting edge Block 60s and F-15s in the event of a conflict with Hindia.kudos

I think that you totally lost the gist of my comments starting from the first to the last post.

If Pakistan stab Iran then it would be Pakistan's worst error in the history.

It is Iran that has stabbed pakistan many a times since the revolution---.

Don't forget that during the iraq war---goods trains full of ammunition from pakistan were reaching Zahidan---.

Deficit is pushing to situation where they are now selling Armco shares. US it self is now producing oil, so it start drifting away from middle east. Plus, GCCl are very unhappy after Iran-US nuclear deal. So, GCC is building new alliance against Iran, before signing Iran nuclear deal. This is kings alliance nothing else. Unfortunately , Pakistan can get oil and gas from next door Iran, but Nawaz is keeping happy Arabs and fail to protect Pak economy.

I agree with your assessment here. My points exactly. I was impressed by the initial reaction of the GoP wherein they refused to be sucked into this nonsense. But then the statements came in from GoP on partial alliance. Pakistan needs to unshackle itself from others. If two things are achieved ie 1. Some kind of understanding on Kashmir with India and a credible durable peace (even if it means incorporating the held territories by either side respectively) 2. The strengthening of CPEC project and definitive move towards greater integration in South Asian free trade I think the days of Pakistan being held hostage in foreign policy to such issues will be gone. The first point is my sincere hope as it is high time we as South Asia start our development. Its a shame that the region which has the honor of being one of the oldest and most developed civilization of its time also has one of the worst developed one .
