Tailban doesnt control any part of Afghanistan, than those remote pockets, Tell me one battle or e engagement they have entered into where they have got their objectives and held land, All they have done is harrass the hell out of USA or USSR, when both could have just nuked their asses off, but cant because they follow Rules of Engagement and the Talibs dont.

This type of engagment is classic gurreila tactics. the North Veitenamese lost every single conventianal battle with the US so did the afghan mujahideen agianst the USSR. Results of both those wars are infront of us so the NATO effort basically is :toast:

It achieves objectives as well as Helps the people on the ground move faster.
Afghan War is a fully justified war in my eyes, I cant say the same about Iraq.
Think about it Kid, USSR or US could bomb the whole place flat with Nukes, but arent doing it, even though they could do it and save their soldiers lives. They could nuke whole of Afghanistan for OBL, they arent, are they. are they not showing restraint in accordance with their capability.

Dude i dont like the taliban at all. Let me tell you these guys are freaks.
But NATO are killing more and more civillians now. you do remeber that incident when the taliban attacked a US convoy and the soldiers started firing indescrimenantly.
So like it or not people are dying in afghanistan. the children of these dead people will come back and fight the NATO allies in the future. As far as nuking goes they cant do it cauz prevailling winds will kill a huge junk in pakistan and Mother INDIA too. So they really cant do that

Same here, i would rather have NATO finish its job; Than those freaks, kill kids, Stone women and all those other medival stuff.
Have you seen that video in which a talib guy unloads a whole magazine onto a 15yr old kid. They are not nuking Afghanistan not only because of concern for India or Pakistan.

Using Nuke in Afghanistan is not an easy Job for both USSR & US, They have to justify this, they know they can’t goforit at this time, having Nuke is something different then using it. Till now nuke was used as thread not as weapon except JAPAN.
War is not the solution!!!! especially when it is WAR against Terrorism, if you know government is not involved in any of the terrorist attack how could its possible that any nation(s) can attack the country for 10 – 20 people...

but if i`m wrong then all nations are at risk, coz terriosts are in every country... including US UK ...

Terrorist Appeasement is not the way, Negotations with criminals and murder's is not an option.
Talibs said they wont give up OBL, More than enough if you ask me. They killed 3,000 Innocent Americans. If I was the President of USA, then I will take revenge for every one of them,

Now when Afghanistan has the power to attack America and take revenge; let them for all the collateral Damage. Ironically this is how the world works, China Feels now ; not before they they can threaten and harp at Japan; so they are doing now cuz they have little capacity to do so.

And Please do understand I have a completly different view for Iraq. Dont go blowing up US or anyother countries assests, Follow rules of Engagement and attack them, IF the leaders of those countries dont respect that, then I Dont think America should also. Nuke their asses out.
