We should use every option from where we can get weapons with TOT or the expertise of making there spares etc.......
Im happy we r getting OPH frigrates and upgrading them thts a boast to PN and getting F-22P frigs from china with TOT........So wats the problem?

if our attitude towards US is like our attitude towards China (and vice-versa) then it is a WIN-WIN situation for Pakistan - western tech on chinese platforms has been a very successful weapons program model - moderately expensive but effective never-the-less

useless,falco and uqaab are better then shadow.check out falco UAV which is even tested with AESA sar..
F-16 only 72(total) in 30 years.and we pay for the f-16.
yess the frigates are at very cheap price and are good(4000 tons).

and what we did for USA?
check pak economy growth rate before war on terror start and now..

well...im in favour of dIversity in our defence systems.... and most of all in favour of joint ventures with countries like turkey,indonesia,malaysia and china.
And incorporating western techno into our indigenous stuff...a good example is JF-17 as we are looking for western hi tech.. avionics for the new born fighter.
