Can anyone confirm this.
If this is true, then this will be the latest in series of China manufactured communication satellite which has failed, the last one being the one supplied to Nigeria.

I just read somewhere that the Paksat-1R manufactured and put in orbit for Pakistan by China in August 2011 is failing. Its transponders are shutting off one by one and many of the TV channels are being moved to other satellites.
Can anyone confirm this.
If this is true, then this will be the latest in series of China manufactured communication satellite which has failed, the last one being the one supplied to Nigeria.

In fact, about Missile technology, PAK is better than IRAN, It is not hard to get this, The SPACE rocket base on missile, especially long-range missile, Why PAK don't develop intercontinental missile? For PAK it is not necessary, PAK main rival is india, 2000 Kilometer is encough for PAK, not technology problem but Need problem, PAK is realistic!!
PAK has three wars with India, then SU invade afghan, PAK indirectly was involved into the war, and late USA involved PAK into the war on terrorism, and these war damage PAK economy. For PAK, it has not too much spare energy to develop its own space project!!
And, Pak don't need get the permit from USA for SPACE project, They have test their nuke, Do they care about USA?

My suspicion is that Pakistan has not yet tested a SLV because uncle sam might not like it. Now, is it not a fact?
