that's why you are so shining & incredible. Compared to a country like China you are a massive fail in every department. To make yourself look good you have to compare with smaller countries. You have a population of 1.2 billion and you beg for a UN sec seat. No you cant have one. Get off your high horses at your supposed success and our relative failure. @on topic: Russia and China are close only because of the US factor..other than that Russia does not trust China at all...And in an organisation like SCO, who is going to be the leader like US is in NATO..will China play the second fiddle..?

And Pakistani cheerleaders are overestimating this Russia-China-Pakistan triangle...They cant answer the question why Russia has put a condition that It will support Pakistan's inclusion into SCO if and only if India's inclusion.

Pakistan's mistake was not that they be-friended the US in response to India -Soviet relations but the fact that they did not know to use that relationship to bring about an economic success and rather only focused on countering India with what they received...if you actually see Pakistan had a better economy than India..........you can take example of south korea,Japan(after WW2) which alligned with the US and has a good economy and development...while all other nations prospered you guys had only one goal...get Kashmir....it just happened that your govt/military rulers were more worried about religion than the economic upliftment of the people who followed it....you are responsible for the state you are in today...you guys were ready to to play into the hands of the Americans because they called you their ally and gave you aid to counter India's military......had you guys played the game differently you would have been like turkey/south korea ........but to India's luck you didnt and made the stupidest move ...fight the soviet with proxies(created based on the only thing you cared about-religion) because your friend did not care what happened to you and only cared about the end of communism....they got their goal and left you with soliders/terrorists who had been created by misleading them- your lot converted Islam into something like a drug/a disease from being something that was to give its followers peace for the sake of winning a war that was not yours in the first place.....did you stop with that ...no you thought that you could do the same thing with Kashmir and went about creating more of these diseased souls.......and while you did this you forgot the basics of war....you do not train your citizen with violence within your country to create an uprising in another country..........

so to summice your country has no one to blame for the s**t it is in ...its all your own fault and untill you guys realize this no amout of friendship with any super power is gonna help you out...you will end up as a pawn who can be sacrificed.

Very true, I especially find it funny that they continually say the US only backstabs, yet Japan and South Korea; heck even Wet Germany benefitted greatly from US initiated programs.

Difference is some people cultures are smart and when they see an opportunity they take it, while others wollow eternally in their own self pity.

But then again you become like those whom you aspire to be like. With role models like Iran, North Korea, Saudi Aabia, it is really no wonder.

US, Russia join hands on Pakistan, Afghanistan | DAWN.COM

In their first meeting since Vladimir Putin returned to the presidency, US President Barack Obama and the Russian leader identified Pakistan and Afghanistan as one of the issues on which they needed to work together.

The two leaders also noted that “both our nations face persistent and evolving domestic and transnational terrorist threats, including from terrorists based in … Afghanistan, and Pakistan”.

In the two-hour Obama-Putin meeting in Los Cabos, Mexico, Russia also agreed to help the United States deal with the problems it was facing due to Pakistan’s decision to close the Nato supply lines to Afghanistan.

“We will explore opportunities to strengthen the Northern Distribution Network,” the statement said.

Oh not again Aryan... Infact tired of reading it in def.pk alone.. Nothing is moving in reality...
On topic: first to build the required infrastructure, pakistan needs aid from US.. For WoT, pakistan got so much of money for building infrastructure alone, which they misused it..
Another, US will never leave Persian Gulf, for the sake of stability nor Russia have any chances against USN in indian ocean...
Russian Navy will need to take atleast 20 years to challenge US hegemony in naval world..
We will maintain energy links with Iran through some ways like how we are doing that now!!

I don't think Russia would want to ally with Pakistan and China. Russia does have good relations with India. We should try to improve our relations with Russia though.

Howcome U can say like that??....I guess U have no idea about the SCO-Shingai Cooporations Organization.......based on the defence and economic cooporation between its member countries. Russia is already an ally of China and Pakistan wants to be its member too. ..........

What I meant was that I don't think Russia would want to ally with Pakistan at least in the sense of supporting Pakistan over India like an . Russia and China are kind of allies although. The members of the SCO aren't exactly allies. Russia has also encouraged India to join the SCO. I do think Russia and Pakistan can have good relations, but I don't think Russia will be an "ally" as in supporting us over issues such as Kashmir.
