Personally, i believe the best route for Pakistan is neutrality.
Iran is our immediate neighbor, what would Pakistan gain by alienating Iran or even making a enemy out of Iran?
1). Afghanistan is already occupied by powers that are hostile to Pakistan.
2). india is Pakistan's historical and open enemy.
3). Our only other peaceful neighbor is China, we have had no major problems with them except a few minor incidents involving separatists who trained in our tribal areas and tried to incite ethnic unrest in Xinjaing.
4). Is it in Pakistan's interest to make a unnecessary enemy out of Iran?
Iran is Pakistan's Muslim neighbor (besides Afghanistan) and is not hostile towards Pakistan (though we did have minor differences) therefore it is our duty to cultivate strong, brotherly, cordial relations with Iran.
This in no way implies that Pakistan should severe its relations with GCC and Arabs .
Arabs are our brothers just as Iran is. Saudi Arabia has been our longtime ally and we might have differences here and there, but overall they hold just as much of a importance to us as Iran.
People here post lovely pictures of their respective countries, their economies, and military industries, this shows the potential our nations have but let me ask you this: Are you willing to have all of this destroyed over petty issues? Are you willing to see your loved ones suffer?? Are you willing to sacrifice the youth of your nation, the generation that will carry on the banner of your country, are you willing to destroy their future and the future of your nation in entirety?
