Taliban isn't a single unitary group.

The foot soldiers of Taliban hate Pakistan, just because mithai is exchanged by the people sitting in Kabul and Haqqanis doesn't mean we are all bradars.

Airstrike and drone strike are retaliation to what's been happening past couple days.

Not a good way of dealing with such a fragile situation. There are better ways to do things.

all it will take to destroy an advancing taliban convoy or artillery units in Afghanistan is a few drones. Stopping their advance is not a huge problem as we can just lockdown the borders, the bigger problem is controlling the population within Pak that sympathizes with IEA, especially in KPK in places like peshawar, waziristan, FATA, etc. If there truly is a border conflict we will unfortunately witness a rise of a bigger TTP with much more support from pashtuns, we need a narrative to combat that which takes time to build.

Iran's soil has been used for terrorist attacks, what do we do there? Why don't we Airstrike there? Same is with Taliban. War with Taliban means unimaginable destruction for Pakistan and Afghanistan and bloodshed of unimaginable proportions. The only people who want this war is TTP and our enemies who are behind them.
