So Pakistan will capture the middle eastern market with its 2nd generation nuclear reactor NINJA skills when the rest of the world is using 5th Gen. Good luck with that.

Anyway, not sure if nuclear energy is the way to go for any countries. After the recent disaster in Japan, even Germany is pulling back from nuclear energy. I am afraid something bad can happen to the nuke plants: Earthquakes etc.
If something can go wrong then will go wrong...you know, one of the Murphy's Laws.

Is there not practical and safe alternatives for energy production? Solar and wind sound too expensive.

I am afraid these dreams can't be achieved by just discussing it on forums. We have to start real struggle, Otherwise achieving all you said in 3-5 years is making fool of ourselves.

what i mentioned is conditional. that all is possible within 3-5 years provided there is independence in our country. But currently all we have is total dependence on USA and SAUDI.

Right now we are importing nuclear fuel for our chasmapower plants.
A civilian enrichment programme exists which will enable to fuel our plants.
But I think this project has hit a snag due to funds shortage.Anyone having latest info can share.
