What's up with Pakistan and its interest in "core issues"..Kashmir, Palestine etc.

Why not keep terror emanating out of its own land as the "core issue" for once, just once ?

WRT Kashmir issue, there is no ''terror emanating out of (Pakistan's) land'' ......most of the terrorist stone-throwers and slogan-chanters are local youth --angry at what they (rightly) perceive as a inhumane and unjustified occupation of lands that are theirs to keep.

UNITED NATIONS, Mar 13 (APP): Pakistan on Monday underscored the need for intensified efforts to resolve the “core issue” of Palestine for Middle East peace, saying now is the time for a strong UN Security Council signal to Israel to stop ‘land grabbing’ in occupied Palestinian territory. “With the continuation of the Israeli settlement activity, hope for the Palestinians to have a viable State of their own is fading fast,” Ambassador Abdullah Hussain told a high-level meeting of the 15-member Council chaired by the British Foreign Secretary and attended by the Foreign Ministers of France, Guatemala, Russia, Portugal and Germany, as well as the US Secretary of State.

Pakistan, being a member-state of the UN and a sovereign country can damn decide for itself what are core and non-core issues......this was at the UN, so they wont be discussing cricket or the latest soap operas -- will they?

yes you can decide whats core issue for you, but the thing is atrocities being committed thousands miles away from pakistan border and pakistan taking a 'stand' may give an impressive that you care for human life.. while on the other hand you sit and watch when exactly same crime is committed by your friends next door to you..

For the 19,23,54,785 th time Maoists are not demanding secession. They want a communist India, as is.

Anyway we are ready to extend the courtesy if you do the same for Balochis, Pashtun nationalists and Sindhi nationalists.
