Pakistan Became First Asian Country to have MIRV Technology

I

I Think you know better because ababil is the only missile in the world that has mirv with 2000 km range. Infact pakistan is ahead ofo even US and RussiaR

And range somehow is related to MIRVs? :rofl:

Did you learn that at your shakha..:lol:

We could have used 2700+ ranged missiles for it too..:lol:
@Oscar.

When did Pakistan tested mirv? Any news oroany official statement
Cold tests conducted with success and shortcomings came in focus will be overcome by introduction of Chinese support systems.
MIRV will be practically tests when India will demonstrate a mature Ballistic Missile Intercept Capability. Before it, its just a unnecessary ''overkill' move.

There have been cases where around eight to ten satellites have been launched in one go. The major difference is that these satellites are positioned in different orbits in space while in case of MIRV the warheads re-enter the earth's atmosphere and fire on the target. The system is designed in such a fashion that the damage caused by several small warheads could be much more than that caused by a single warhead.

So, it's not something new. With the know how of launching and placing multiple satellites in space using a single launch vehicle, MIRV is just a piece of cake, or I guess China and India may have long mastered it, maybe just working to make the system perfect. :-)
and those satellites mostly were less than kilo in weight.

What is the substantiation of this claim? Has there been a MIRV demonstration confirmed by neutral sources?

We are always first in South Asia when it comes to defence equipment and best performing records in wars or conflicts.

But defense is a negative industry..its eating up large chunks of budget to keep employment and R/D going in a sector with zero trade potential..no matter how many nukes or missiles Pakistan makes..there will not be a single export customer..so why not divert the funds into private technology development..something which can be used to create jobs and boost export? Pakistan is perpetually stuck in agrarian derived economy!

Large chunk of budget? Its about 2.6% of our GDP and it employs at least 1.5 million people in Pakistan. It is exporting more than $200 million annually and indigenously $1.5 bn worth of equipment is produced every year.

Boosting export and R&D is the responsibility of Govt not defence institutes. This defence budget is responsible for protecting our country from external and internal threats, holding PSL matches, holding elections, assisting National disasters etc. Defence ministry shouldn't be accused because of our government failures.
